HOW TO REACH US FROM THE VENICE AIRPORT "MARCO POLO"

The only way to reach Venice from the airport is by boat. You can choose between the public service (called Alilaguna), or the private water taxi, which is faster but "slightly" more expensive. Both leave from the same dock, (when you are in the arrivals terminal, just follow the moving walkway and you arrive to the water terminal).
Notice: the last departure of Alilaguna is at 00:40, so if you land later read the recommendation below in the section #FOR NIGHTLY ARRIVALS

#TIMETABLE OF ALILAGUNA

The name of the stop is LIDO SME and the short cruise is almost one hour long.
There are two types of Alilaguna, which bring the people to Lido (and viceversa). The Blu Line and the Red Line.

#FOR NIGHTLY ARRIVALS

If you miss the last Alilaguna at 00:40, don't despair! But you have to change your route to Lido. First of all you have to reach Piazzale Roma, (the only place of Venice reachable by car) and then you have to take the night line waterbus to Lido.
On exiting the arrivals terminal you have the bus (Line 5) leaving at 01:10. You can buy the ticket at the machine right next to the bus stop.
If you miss that too, you must catch a taxi and the cost is about 50€.
Once you arrive to Piazzale Roma you will see a big modern bridge and on its left you will find the piers of the waterbuses, the local public transportation, (in Venice they are called vaporetto).

The ticket per person costs:

- 7,50€ (valid for 75 minutes)

- 20€ : (valid for 24 hours)

- 30€ : (valid for 48 hours)

- 40€ : (valid for 72 hours)

- 60€ : (valid for 7 days)

We suggest you to buy the ticket which covers your stay because you will need to take the vaporetto several times to travel around the city.

#FROM THE LIDO PIER TO THE HOTEL

When you arrive to Lido, both by Alilaguna and by waterbus and by taxi (they dock at the same pier), look for the rotatory near the piers and take the main street "Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta". Walk three minutes keeping the right and you arrive to the hotel.
